Northwood, West London
Octagon worked with Holloway Construction on a new build project in Northwood to provide the client with a Control4 Smart Home. Our designer met with the client to discuss the plans for the property, and his vision of the final outcome. It was clear that entertainment, comfort, ultimately convenience were the main solutions he was looking for, and from that brief we had free reign to use our expertise to design the dream system for him.
The final outcome was visually stunning, and our client was extremely pleased with the installation. Our in-house programmers put the finishing touches on the system by spending time with the client and tailoring it to their lifestyle. Every button on a keypad, every icon on a touchscreen, and every automated process was personally coded by our team. A smart home isn’t a one size fits all solution, which is why we go the extra mile to create something bespoke for every client.

25 New Luxury Apartments
Ickenham, West London
Located in private wooded grounds, Harefield Place is a collection of 25 luxury apartments within a restored Georgian Mansion in Middlesex. Octagon were tasked by Manorgrove Homes to create a solution that would allow each apartment to be pre-cabled for various smart home elements, ready for the new owners to move in and select from a list of ready-to-go packages.
We had a vision of providing each resident of Harefield Place with a home that could be controlled in the palm of their hand, with entertainment facilities such as custom installed speakers that blend seamlessly into the traditional décor of the apartment and centralised TV distribution systems to avoid clutter in the rooms.
Every potential buyer is invited to meet with us at one of our local offices to discuss their apartment and the packages available to them. This involves looking over the marked up plans that we created during the design stage, finding out more about them and their lifestyle, and tailoring a final solution that brings smart technology into their luxurious new home.

Control4 Integrated Refurbishment
Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire
Working closely with renowned architects, Jane Duncan, for many years has given us the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of projects. From new builds and refurbishments, to extensions and single room renovations. The beauty of smart home technology is that it can be scaled to each home’s individual needs and requirements.
We were contacted by Jane Duncan with a project in Great Missenden, which was a refurbishment of an older property where the client wanted to retain the external period features but completely modernise the interior. We love projects with character, and this was certainly one of those!
Our designers met with the client to discuss their requirements, and put together a scope for the type of results they would like the smart home to achieve. The idea of this project was to focus on only three rooms within the house; Kitchen, Television Room, and Formal Lounge. Our designers were able to create a system that filled these rooms with high quality audio, 4K OLED TVs, customised lighting, and a reliable WiFi network.
